I need a new graphics card
I've run Doom 3's timedemo and I'm only getting 11.5 fps!!! :-(I've been noticing some gamers are achieving 40+ fps with their systems. I know my Geforce 4MX is slow but should it be 4x slower than a 9600XT? Anyway, if anyone feels they want to donate a graphics card ..... ;-)

Yup, the newest cards that just came out can reach up to double speed in tests than the most expensive ones just previously available. Very good cards.

The problem is that they're extremely expensive. I hate paying for something like that only to find that it's loses half it's value after 6 months. I mean I remember paying £200 for 8Meg of ram! Ouch!
Anyway, I've gone ahead and ordered an FX5900XT. Hopefully that will give a decent speed increase over my 4MX 440,
